Well, well, well …stampeding back to .500, the Giants managed to win the rubber match in Milwaukee 4 – 3 on a go-ahead two-run single by Heliot Ramos with two outs in the top of the ninth.
After a day off Monday, the boys just beat the Cubs 5 – 2. The scoring was bookended by homers by Wilmer Flores in the 1st and Matt Chapman in the 6th. RBIs by Ramos and Rafael Devers mitigated an 0 for 4 night by Willy Adames, who struck out thrice.
That’s three wins in a row for the Giants, to take them to (64 – 68).
