Christian Koss hit his first major league homer for the maximum, a grand slam, last night. But something he did in a one-run loss to the Twins was even more impressive – he was the one who broke up Chris Paddack’s perfect game.
Paddack mowed through ALL our best hitters – Jung Who Lee? Matt Chapwho? Willy Whodames? Wilmer WhoFlo … That one doesn’t work. but you get the picture.
And with two outs in the 7th, Christian Koss got a base hit on a guy who had worked six and two thirds, perfect.
Koss is patient and alert at the plate.
He also drove in the only run we scored in another 2 – 1 loss
Add to that his solid work at second base covering for Tyler Fitzgerald, and now the grand slam last night?
Christian Koss is MAXXIN! !
Koss is slashing .241/.293/.296 with a .589 OPS.
Way to go, Rook!
See you at the yard.
Let’s go Giants! Gotta win this series!
