The cold, gray, chilly weather continues in the Bronx, but at least it was slightly more dry today.
The Yankees bats woke up and peppered Jordan Hicks with hits and sacs, but no homers. Lou Trivino gave up a solo shot to Rice, but it wasn’t the Yankees long ball that beat the G-men today.
Game Two of The Gauntlet I of 2025 is the first loss of the season for Hicks (1-1).
We are 1-1 on the 17 consecutive game stretch, looking at a rubber match to win the first series tomorrow.
